Patient Satisfaction Survey

To help us find out what you think, we employ a comprehensive Patient Satisfaction Survey every quarter. We send a self-completion postal questionnaire to you following discharge to get your feedback.

To ensure independence and integrity is maintained, you are asked to return the questionnaire to the independent research company commissioned to carry out the survey.

The questionnaire consists of 35 questions and focuses on general aspects of care provided within the hospital including:
  • Care & treatment
  • Information received
  • Room & privacy
  • Catering services
  • General impressions
All original questionnaires are returned to our hospitals so we can go through the written comments in more detail and work towards addressing areas that need improvement.

We are currently reviewing the way in which you provide feedback and comments. In 2006 we will be piloting other methods for gaining your feedback to ensure that your experiences drive our efforts to improve the quality of care we provide.
